A Little Every Day - Week 13 - Repost

This week has been more successful that most of the recent weeks. This week I finally managed to finish chapter 11 after having too grind through each and every sentence for weeks it is finally complete! For a chapter which is pivotal and busy it took a long time to work through. It is definitely worth it to continue to try day after day and get rewarded with the finished product. I didn’t let myself take a break for long and jumped into chapter 12 and found myself pleasantly surprised by the progress I was able to make. With any luck I will be finished with chapter 12 in a week or two.

Chapter 11 was not my only completed work this week, I also managed to complete a board game review for one of my all-time favourite games. The game I reviewed was Isaac Vega and Jon Gilmour’s Dead of Winter: A Crossroads Game. I got the chance to play this game when it first came out and have never looked back since. I took great joy out of assessing the game and have never had a time where the game was not fun to play. It has amazing replay value and if you haven’t had chance to I would highly recommend checking it out! My hard work for the review was rewarded, not only with the finished piece itself but the approval of one of the creators. I reached out to the creators and was delighted when Jon Gilmour himself liked it!

I surprised myself this week with my willingness to continue to go to the gym. Usually I go too hard into it at first and then end up quitting, but I have been happy to continue. This doesn’t mean I didn’t huff and puff about not being bothered to go but once there I can safely say that I have been enjoying going. Each time I walk through that door it feels like an achievement. Here is to continuing the commitment!

Thank you for joining my on this leg of the journey I will see you next week!
